From the moment you step into Hairy Tails, you will see, hear and smell the difference! We strive to offer a comforting, relaxing and stress free experience for your pet. Hairy Tails is a full service day spa and home pet sitting service. As an AKC Safety Certified business and PSI Certified in Covid-19 Health Procedures, we are held to strict guidelines when it comes to pet safety, operating procedures and disease control.

Grooming
In the grooming parlor, the open floor plan and the big picture window offer an abundance of natural light. Earth tones and barn wood create a warm, home-like environment. Aromatherapy diffusers provide therapeutic essential oils as soothing music plays in the background. Appointments are scheduled so that your pet(s) can enjoy private treatment without interaction from other families. The grooming equipment and tables are sanitized after every appointment and the entire parlor is cleaned and sanitized every evening to provide a healthy environment and eliminate any lingering “l’odeur de doggy.”
Offering family style, run of the house accommodations for small breed dogs, your pets are welcome into our home while you're away from yours! Your pets are cared for on their schedule. We provide supervised outside play time in two, park-like gated yards on 3 acres, an enclosed wrap around porch, family interaction and new furry friends! Medication administration is available and special needs pets are expertly cared for. No kennels or cages are used. Text or email updates are sent daily. If you're looking for day care or an extended stay, your four-legged family will be treated with love in a calm and safe environment. Pet care drop-in visits in your home and dog walking is also available.

Angel is a certified groomer having graduated from the renowned American Academy of Pet Grooming in Manhattan. Maintaing safety and sanitary applications as the #1 priority, Angel is American Kennel Club Operations & Disease Control Safety Certified, Certified in Covid-19 Health & Safety Practices by Pet Sitters International as well as Pet First Aid & CPR Certified. Angel is an AKC Certified S.A.F.E. Groomer (Safety, Assurance, Fundamentals, Education) as well as certified in Canine Massage, Handling Special Needs Dogs and Feline Safety which showcases her commitment to holding your pets well being in the highest regard and her pursuit of continued education within the industry. With a natural sense for animal temperament, Angel continued her studies to become a Certified Animal Behavior Psychologist from the International Council for Online Education. Utilizing a holistic approach to animal care, Angel is Certified in Pet Nutrition as well as Certified in Animal Hair and Skin Care and AKC Certified in Hand Stripping. As a Certified Reiki practitioner for over 20 years, Angel incorporates the positive energy transference to all of the animals she works with to provide a relaxing environment and comforting experience. Her work as a canine trainer and handler was featured on national print and television for clients such as Saturday Night Live, NBC News, Heinz, Men's Health Magazine, Saks 5th Avenue, Dillards, Sears, Black Book and Cover Dog.

Mark's easy-going temperament and fun loving nature make him the perfect companion for our doggie guests! As the Director of Operations, Mark makes sure everything is safe, clean and in top working order. He is a Certified Brusher/Bather with a thorough understanding of the best products and tools to use specific to your pets coat, skin and condition. With safety and well being our top priority, Mark is Certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. Whether initiating a game of catch, grabbing a leash for a walk or sudsing a pup in the parlor, Mark's behavioral work with animals contribute to the happy and stress free atmosphere Hairy Tails Groom & Room is known for.
